Sagepay Test Credit Card Numbers

Posted on: 24th Nov 2010 By: Robert Kent No Comments

For those of you who are using Sagepay in your magento websites the following could be of use to you. Basically when you use Sagepay you need to make sure that it works first – the best way to do this is to set your Sagepay settings to “test” and use the following credit card number to test the connection between yourself and the Sagepay server. The following is a list of card numbers for each payment type that Sagepay accepts. I have added my own note next to each for the relevance of each test – basically whats worth checking and whats not.

Visa (As in credit card visa)
4929000000006

Visa Debit / Delta (Visa Debit is definitely becoming more popular)
4462000000000003

Visa Electron (UKE – Not really used anymore)
4917300000000008

Solo (SOLO) (seems to be being phased out and replaced with Visa Debit)
6334900000000005
Issue 1

UK Maestro / International Maestro (definitely on the way out)
5641820000000005
Issue 01

MasterCard (Always going strong)
5404000000000001

American Express (Going strong everywhere)
374200000000004

Obviously all the expiry dates need to be dates in the future. Also if it ever asks for a start date (I think SOLO may do), then enter a date in the past.

Hopefully this will help those of you who need to make sure all types of payment options are working and available for your customers.
